Ancelotti Defends Gattuso

Chelsea manager has come out and defended AC Milan midfielder Gennaro Gattuso after the Milan captain was involved in an altercation with Tottenham assistant manager Joe Jordan towards the end of AC Milan’s 1-0 defeat  to Tottenham. The altercation ended with the Italian international headbutting Jordan.

Ancelotti, who managed Gattuso at Milan for eight years during which the club won two European Cups. Ancelotti  said, ”I was obviously not happy because Gattuso is a very generous player, is a very good man. He made a mistake. I’m very disappointed with this. Also, he was very disappointed after the game. He said sorry and full stop.”
