Tevez wants a turn to talk, doesn’t want to be left out
As everyone humanly possible has already commented on the Ronaldo saga, which has turned into something like the Elian Gonzalez story, the man who went through a similar saga last summer has decided to make a statement. Why? Probably because he felt left out. Although you would think he would want to encourage Ronaldo to stay, Tevez as done the opposite. We expect a stern talking to from Sir Alex.
Tevez told AS:
“The [United] team has great players, including Cristiano Ronaldo, of course.”
“It’s clear that he is a very important player for us, but this is a personal decision, which is up to only him. I understand Cristiano. Every footballer wants to play at Real Madrid.”
“On the other hand, I also think that everyone wants to play for Manchester United, but if what he seeks is something else, I think that should be respected.”
“I have not talked to him, but when these things happen, neither side feels good.”
The drama continues as we enter day 48 of the Ronaldo saga.
