Raul “Joining Madrid is the best thing that could happen to anyone”

Looks like not everyone agrees with Sir Alex Ferguson’s comments that joining Real Madrid would be Ronaldo’s “worst career move ever.”

Stunned by the Red’s Manager’s comments, Real Madrid’s iconic striker Raul fired back in the newspaper Marca:

“Joining Madrid is the best thing that could happen to anyone. I have been here for 14 years and I would not change anything.”

The saga has been ongoing since early June, a week before the European Championships. With each day passing, and the end of the transfer window looming, it looks as if the Portuguese  play maker will be staying at Old Tratford
